MINNEAPOLIS — SunOpta is expanding its plant-based coffee creamer brand Sown with the addition of its Brown Sugar Organic Oat Creamer.
The creamer is formulated from organic ingredients like hydrolyzed oats, cane sugar, and canola oil, along with natural flavors. The gluten-free dairy alternative contains 30 calories and 4 grams of sugar per serving and is packaged in 32-oz cartons.
“This new product was crafted to elevate the coffee experience, delivering a touch of warm, familiar comfort,” said Lauren McNamara, vice president of SunOpta. “We believe everyone’s coffee deserves a creamer with a conscience, that’s why we take pride in offering organic products that are carefully made, ethically sourced and robust in flavor.”
Sown’s oat creamer is now available in Sprouts Farmers Market and Whole Foods Market stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $6. The product also is expected to roll out online through Amazon later this year.
The brown sugar flavor joins the brand’s existing lineup that includes unsweetened, sweet and creamy, vanilla and salted caramel varieties.
